2021 Embroker: Key Revenue, Customer, and Leadership Milestones

Man riding launching rocket ship to symbolize 2021 Embroker insights and success

2021 Embroker insights are an excellent way to take a look back as we blaze the trail ahead. Through the tremendous hard work of each individual employee this past year, Embroker, is set to become even stronger in the days to come.

2021 has been a wild ride for us here at Embroker. To cap off what has been an exciting and unpredictable year, we’re here to make our 2021 Embroker announcements, and let you know where we are at this stage in our growth.

To close out our year, in 2021 Embroker is announcing that we have surpassed an annual $100M premium run rate, a milestone that equates to more than 120% revenue growth year over year.

This achievement speaks to the incredible work of our team in constantly updating and perfecting our platform to ensure that every customer and user can simply get insured.

But, it’s also a testament to you, our clients. Without your support and trust in us, none of this would be possible.

In fact, we are also announcing that we now serve more than 8,000 customers, spanning startups to publicly-listed multinational enterprises.

That means that we have more than doubled the size of our customer base in one year. And, concerning our 2021 Embroker announcement, this one makes us the proudest.

We’re also proud to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry, with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 81. As a business ourselves, we take pride in knowing what our clients need, and helping them get it with as little friction as possible.

2021 Embroker Insights from the Executive Bench

Now, here’s our founder and CEO, Matt Miller, to give you some insights:

“Five years ago sophisticated digital business insurance didn’t exist. When Embroker was founded, we looked at the opportunity to build a better type of business insurance, thoroughly rejecting the legacy approach and instead modeling risk and designing products that cater to the needs of specific types of companies,” said Matt Miller, CEO, and Founder of Embroker.

“Fast forward to 2021 and the market is wholeheartedly embracing Embroker’s intelligent digital platform, and we are delivering significant value to our growing base of customers.”

“It has been an impressive year of growth for the company, with new products and a strong growing team of experts. We’re looking forward to taking this momentum into 2022, adding new products and capabilities, and continuing to make business insurance more tailored, less expensive, and easier to purchase.”

And finally, the moment you’ve all (probably) been waiting for: we’re also announcing the extension of our executive bench.

Brian Acks, formerly head of finance at Vouch, is joining Embroker as our new CFO. Brian has over 15 years of experience in the Commercial P&C insurance industry, including lengthy experience at CNA, a top 10 commercial insurer.

Here’s Brian himself:

“I have joined a team that believes as I do and is taking big, bold, disruptive steps in the insurtech industry,” Acks said. “I am looking forward to joining the team and driving our insurance strategy, innovation, and expansion together.”

Once again, thank you all for such an incredible year. We are so happy we have the privilege of delivering our 2021 Embroker milestones and announcements.

We’re excited for what 2022 will bring, and look forward to having even more to announce the next time around.
